Perfect week for the youth team of the blue star, five wins out of five

Viterbo – An extremely positive week that passed for the youth teams of the Viterbo blue star who all came out victorious over their opponents in the matches of their reference championships.

The under 13 (first in the group) and the under 15 Eccellenza, both led by coaches Alessandro Cittadini and Roberto Guiducci, beat their peers Bracciano basket 51-41 and Elite basket Roma 87-86 respectively, after a hard-fought match that ended in overtime. Maria Chiara Scaramuccia’s Under 17 Silver conquered the Basket Primavalle field with a score of 73-62.

The Under 17 Eccellenza led by Umberto Fanciullo and Maria Chiara Scaramuccia, formation currently second in the rankings, got the better of the noble Npc Sporthub Rieti with a peremptory 71-53.

The Under 19 gold team coached by Jacopo Vitali and Maria Chiara Scaramuccia, team second in the general standings, achieved a 64-56 victory over San Paolo Ostiense.

Lastly, the Promotion team, led by coaches Vitali and Scaramuccia and made up of the young captain Piazzolla and all the under white stars, beat Uisp XVIII 87-69 and leads its group with seven victories out of as many matches played.

A series of successes and positions in the standings which certifies how all the under-groups of Pallacanestro Stella Azzurra Viterbo are growing, as well as in the number of members and teams registered in the regional federal championships of the category, above all in quality, demonstrating the excellent and valuable work carried out by a technical staff of absolute importance that has brought its youth sector to remarkable results and credibility within the regional basketball panorama.

A great satisfaction for our club whose goal remains the growth of the many basketball-loving kids to whom we offer the prospect of being able to defend the colors of the city of Viterbo as soon as possible.
