Oviedo already has its third signing: the transfer of Raúl Moro is official

Raúl Moro is the third. The 20-year-old winger, who belongs to Italian Lazio, has been announced this morning as a new Oviedo footballer. He arrives on loan and is committed until June in negotiations outlined since the beginning of the week. He joins training immediately, so he could enter the list to face Villarreal B on Friday and tomorrow there will be his official presentation to the media.

Oviedo achieves an interesting movement in its squad and that was not originally planned. The departure of Marco Sangalli, who after terminating the remainder of his contract has committed to Racing, will be replaced by the arrival of Raúl Moro, an operation that takes place under very advantageous economic conditions.

For Cervera, who has given the go-ahead, it is also an interesting operation because the Moro theory conforms to the profile that the coach wants for his attack: fast, cheeky and one-on-one. Moro, called the “Albera Rocket” during his time at Barça, was a strong bet for Lazio when he was 16 years old: he paid 7 million euros for his services.

The blue club has made it official in the following statement:

“Real Oviedo and Lazio have reached an agreement for Raúl Moro to join the team from the capital of the Principality on loan.

Raúl Moro Prescoli was born on December 5, 2002 in Abrera. Formed in the lower categories of RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona, the winger joined Lazio in the summer of 2019. At the age of 17, in his first season with the sky-blue team, the young attacker made his Serie A debut in a match against Juventus. Subsequently, and after three seasons in the Lazio under-19 team, the Catalan has played on loan this season at Ternana Calcio in the Italian Second Division where he has played 12 games and scored one goal so far.

In addition, the footballer, who has had a presence in the lower categories of the Spanish National Team, has also been cited on one occasion with the Under-21 National Team by the hand of Luis de la Fuente”.
