NFL: Jalen Hurts, Justin Jefferson and Patrick Mahomes in the running for two individual honors

Jalen Hurts, Justin Jefferson et Patrick Mahomes are among the finalists for the titles of the most valuable player and the most outstanding offensive player of theAssociated Press.

The names of the winners will be announced on February 9. Fifty members of the media who regularly follow National Football League activities cast their ballots before the start of the playoffs.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and that of the Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow are also finalists for the title of Most Valuable Player.

Hurts had 3,701 yards through the air and 760 yards on the ground with 35 combined touchdowns to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a 14-3 record. The team will participate in the National Association Championship game for the 2nd time in 6 years.

Jefferson led the NFL with 128 catches and 1,809 yards in his 3rd season with the Vikings you Minnesota. He was one of the two unanimous of the all-star team along with the tight end of the Chiefs of Kansas City Travis Kelce.

Mahomes, the 2018 MVP, led the Chiefs to a 14-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Mahomes led the NFL with 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns through the air.

The quarter hunter San Francisco 49ers Nick Bosathe Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones and the quarter hunter dallas cowboys Micah Parsons are finalists for Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
