Before Christmas, seven judoka were able to put on their new belts. The graduations took place three times to the 3rd Kyu (green) and twice each to the 6th Kyu (yellow-orange) and 7th Kyu (yellow).
Tobias Lacheta, who replaced Peter Leirich as trainer of the adult group from November, was present for the first time at the belt presentation. Through his children, who train at JC Dettelbach, he found his way back to active judo.
At JC Dettelbach, children from the age of five can start judo.
Five age-appropriate training units are offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the sports hall of the Realschule Dettelbach (entrance to the indoor pool). Information is available from Monika Leirich, Tel.: (09324) 99581.
