Saint-Pourcain-sur-Besbre. New archers at the RSVB. Archery is a complete sport that works the whole body and requires great concentration. Despite all its benefits, the Bal de Besbre Sports Retreat had very few members for several years. But they are twelve now, to the great satisfaction of Bernard Mornat, the host.
Depending on whether they are beginners or more experienced, archers have the choice of the surface of the target (120 cm side or 40 cm) and its distance (12 m or 18 m). It is necessary to respect the instructions of the facilitator because caution is essential. In general, there are ten shots of three arrows during the sessions which take place at the Boudeville hall in Dompierre, on Mondays at 2 p.m.
Each session is convivial and the last ended with a tasting of the galette des Rois.
