NBA: Knicks win against Pacers

The New York Knicks won the important duel with the Indiana Pacers and scored important points in the fight for a direct playoff spot in the North American basketball league NBA.

The team with the German Isaiah Hartenstein prevailed in Madison Square Garden with 119:113.

The Knicks are now sixth in the Eastern Conference, one spot ahead of the Pacers, who also now have a record of 23 wins and 19 losses. New York’s professional Jalen Brunson was the most successful basketball player of the game with 34 points. Hartenstein kept a low profile in his little over nine minutes on the field, posting a block and two rebounds.

The top teams in the east of the NBA also got wins. Leaders Boston Celtics beat the New Orleans Pelicans, third in the Western Conference, 125-114 in the top game of the day. Jaylen Brown was the towering man on the field with a season-high 41 points for the Celtics. The Milwaukee Bucks, number three in the east behind the Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets, also had a win and won 114:105 against the Atlanta Hawks.

In the west, the Memphis Grizzlies recorded a 135-129 against the San Antonio Spurs. The current eight wins in a row are currently the best in the league. The Denver Nuggets are still the leaders of the table, giving the Phoenix Suns no chance at 126:97.
