NBA: Concerns about LeBron James, Wagner brothers surprise win – US-SPORT NBA BASKETBALL

The Lakers stumble without their superstars!

The Los Angeles Lakers lost 104:121 to the Brooklyn Nets without the injured LeBron James (38) and the rested Anthony Davis (29).

James needs just 117 points to break the NBA’s all-time scoring record. According to the coach, whether he can further reduce the gap to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night should only be clarified in the course of the day. James missed the game against the Nets because of “significant pain” in his left ankle.

After being 19 points behind, the Lakers even took the lead in the third quarter. In the last quarter, however, the team of national team captain Dennis Schröder (29) broke apart completely and clearly lost the game. Schröder put up ten points but only hit two of his 15 attempts from open play. With 26 points, Kyrie Irving (30) from the Brooklyn Nets, who still have to do without superstar Kevin Durant (34), was the best pitcher of the evening.
