The state of Morelos, along with Nayarit, Aguascalientes and Jalisco, will be one of the sub-venues of the 2023 Conade National Games, since it will receive the following sports in the middle of the year: rugby, handball, badminton, golf, table tennis and modern pentathlon.
The entity was not chosen as the venue for said event -formerly called the National Olympics- since 2016. In that edition the state delegation won 36 medals, for this year it seeks to break the record of 70 medals achieved in 2022.
Tabasco will be the main venue, hosting 14 disciplines, including chess, athletics, basketball, 3×3 basketball, baseball, judo and karate, among others.
