The mayor, Adolfo Muñiz, along with the sports councillor, Jesús Caballero, and Dxt representatives have delivered the respective medals to the top three individual and cross-country teams, table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, handball, volleyball and futsal.

Twelve hundred schoolchildren have received their trophies and medals from the Christmas tournaments of the Municipal Sports Board in a massive event filled by parents and relatives in the Luis Casimiro pavilion.

The mayor, Adolfo Muñiz, along with the sports councillor, Jesús Caballero, and Dxt representatives have delivered the respective medals to the top three individual and cross-country teams, table tennis, badminton, tennis, basketball, handball, volleyball and futsal.

Adolfo Muñiz has stressed that Puertollano is closely identified with sport and the proof is the massive influx of public to this event. “I encourage you to continue playing sports, being members of the Municipal Board and to build a more sporting city and that together we are capable of building a Puertollano for the future. You are the future of our city”, said the mayor.

Muñiz recalled that today is a very magical day due to the arrival of their Three Kings in the city, whose presence will be enjoyed just as it was three months ago and the opportunity to see them through the streets of Puertollano. “I wish you the best for 2023 and that the Kings are capable of transmitting that illusion.”
