After years of being confused for one another a pair of minor league baseball players with the same name decided to take a DNA test to see if they were related.
The pair, each named Brady Feiglare 32 and 27 years old. One plays for the Long Island Duckswhile the younger Feigl playing for the Las Vegas Aviators. Both Feigls also have similar physical characteristics measuring up at 6 feet, four inches tall, possessing fiery red hair, and wearing glasses.
The duo also had the same elbow surgery
Back in 2015, the pair also had the same elbow surgery, which was also the first time they were mistaken for each other. The surgery coincidentally was also performed by the same doctor.
“I was probably six or seven months out of surgery and their office called our trainer and said, ‘Hey, when’s Brady reporting for surgery? Is he getting down here tomorrow?,” the younger Feigl said to The Clarion Ledger.
“He was like, ‘He had it six months ago. What are you talking about?’ That’s how I found out there was two of us.”
Pair mixed up again in 2017
The pair were mistaken for one another again in 2017 when the University of Missouri’s baseball team tagged the wrong Feigl on Twitter.
“Wrong Brady Feigl,” the former san diego padres player responded. “Might be looking for @bfeigl39…”
Despite their similarities, the pair have not been separated at birth
In spite of their uncanny resemblance, the DNA test showed that the Feigls were not biologically connected in any way. However, despite their five-year age gap, the pair feel like they’re connected.
“We’re still brothers in a way,” the older Feigl said, as reported by The Sun.
