In Montpellier, Lecomte will hope to find his best level when he has played little since the 2021/2022 season, on loan from AS Monaco twice in Spain to Atlético Madrid (0 match), then to RCD Espanyol (10 matches).

In 2018 and 2019, when he wore the MHSC jersey, he was nominated for the League’s best goalkeeper trophy for the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons alongside Lopes, Mandanda, Areola, Mendy and even Main.
