Malaysia Open 2023 Results: Fajar/Rian Win!

Dawn Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto won the 2023 Malaysia Open. They beat Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang 21-18, 18-21, and 21-13.

In the men’s doubles final at the Malaysia Open 2023 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sunday (15/1/2023), the chase for points occurred early in the game. Fajar/Rian’s score against Liang/Wang drew 7-7. After that, Fajar/Rian got two consecutive points from an opponent’s return that hit the net and went wide.

One smash by Rian added points for the Indonesian men’s doubles. In the first interval, Fajar/Rian won 11-7. Until the rest of the first game, Fajar/Rian was not caught up. They finally won the first game with a score of 21-18.

Fajar/Rian were caught off guard when they won 20-13. Liang/Wang were able to get consecutive points, but Fajar/Rian were still able to win the first game.

Meanwhile Akane Yamaguchi won over An Se Young in the men’s singles final 12-21, 21-19, and 21-11. In the men’s singles, Viktor Axelsen won over Kodai Naraoka 21-6, 21-15.
