Losing Three Times in a Row, Madura United FC Coach Resigns

Madura United coach, Fabio Lefundes admitted that he was afraid when the police entered the stadium in the match against Persis Solo at the Manahan Stadium, Tuesday (23/8/2022).

SUPERBALL.ID – Madura United coach, Fabio Araju Lefundes, said he would resign because his team had never won in the last three matches.

For information, Madura United lost 0-2 against Persebaya Surabaya in the last game.

Previously, Madura United also lost to Persik Kediri (24/1/2023) and Persib Bandung (20/1/2023).

These three defeats made Madura United immediately fall in the rankings of League 1.

Now the team nicknamed Laskar Sape Kerrap is ranked 4th with a collection of 36 points.

Responding to this, Fabio Lefundes volunteered to management to resign as coach.

“This is a big blow. Therefore, it is better for Madura to continue without me,” Fabio was quoted as saying by SuperBall.id from the Antara News page.

“I have asked the management of this team to consider my application.”
