Kyrie Irving, on fire, makes Nets history

On a basketball court, Kyrie Irving is unanimous. With his spectacular game, the Brooklyn Nets point guard stands out as one of the most interesting players to watch. And right now, the Melbourne native is stringing together big performances.

In the absence of Kevin Durant, the ex-talent of the Cleveland Cavaliers fully assumes his responsibilities. With 21 of his 32 points in the last quarter, he notably led his team to victory against the New York Knicks (122-115).

From now on, Irving remains on 6 consecutive matches at 30 points or more. A career record, but also in the history of the Nets!

“I think people find it hard to understand the confidence he gives to his teammates. You really have to emphasize that… At the end of the match, it takes a lot of pressure off his teammates. It’s really a relief to know that you can count on a guy who will chain the baskets”, admired his coach Jacque Vaughn.

Well-deserved compliments for Kyrie Irving. Already excellent with KD, the 30-year-old has raised his level of play even further after his partner’s injury. And to stay in the game in the East, Brooklyn needed just that.

To the point where he can even afford to send a few messages for his future…

Kyrie Irving wants to stay at the Nets… and is already putting pressure on them?
