The construction was completed on March 20, 2024, and has maintained a zero-work safety record since the start of construction; and in view of the approaching of the Lunar New Year, Gao City Vice Mayor Lin Qinrong led a joint inspection on the 12th, requiring all construction sites to strengthen work safety self-discipline, and reiterated the “no alcohol make”.

The new construction of Fengshan Station and Development Building with a total cost of more than 2.5 billion yuan has now completed the part of Fengshan Railway Station, and has rushed to build the “Fengcheng in the Sky” building with 6 floors and 10 floors. The progress of the project 3.66% ahead, has reached 53.61%, and is expected to be completed before March 20, 2024. According to the planning of the city government, the 10-story Building A is equipped with department stores, youth entrepreneurship spaces, commercial offices, and sky auditoriums, etc.; the 6-story Building B has cultural and educational facilities, experimental theaters, and movie settlements.

Lin Qinrong pointed out that the “Fengcheng in the Air” case was led by the Railway Bureau, and it is expected to be completed after the Chinese New Year; this time, the joint inspection found that the moving lines of the work area and the scope of the construction were separated, and the entry and exit of personnel were also registered with technological scanning. And before going to work, they will do alcohol tests, and they have maintained a zero-work safety record so far, hoping to become a demonstration for construction sites. He also reiterated the “alcoholic prohibition” on the construction site, including alcoholic refreshing drinks such as Visby must not appear on the construction site.

Lin Qinrong said that since April 2021, the Kaohsiung City Government has issued and implemented the “Implementation Plan for Strengthening Public Safety at Construction Sites by the Kaohsiung City Government” to strengthen management of hazardous projects such as falls, collapses, falling objects, and electric shocks that are prone to occur on the construction site. Immediately ask for improvement, and if necessary, stop work and impose fines; in 2022, a total of 3,458 construction site inspections will be conducted, an increase of 15% compared with 2021, and the number of occupational accidents will decrease by 21% compared with 2021.
