Junior from Barranquilla It has been one of the teams that has announced the most 7 reinforcements so far for the next season of the BetPlay League 2023, a championship that will begin at the end of January and will once again be the protagonists in Colombia after a dismal performance in 2022.

Led by their coach Arturo Reyes, the shark team hopes to resume the title of favorite in the League and where, in addition, they will seek to be a protagonist at the international level with their participation in the Copa Sudamericana.

While more reinforcements are added, everything seems to indicate that Junior would have the preseason calendar ready, but the novelty is that he will not do it against teams from Colombia, but will travel abroad to face four clubs.

First of all, Junior would travel to Inca territory starting on January 8 and play against Lima Alliance in the popular “Tarde Blanquiazul”, where the Colombian team has been unofficially invited.

For this reason, in search of taking advantage of their stay in Peruvian territory, the shark team would have in mind to carry out three more friendlies against Peruvian teams, where the historic Sporting Cristal and the modest Club Social y Deportivo Carlos Mannucci de Trujillo.

At the moment, Junior has not confirmed the friendlies, but it is the tentative calendar to start forming the team that will compete in Liga BetPlay 2023 and in Copa Sudamericana against Deportes Tolima.
