JUDO- The Seniors of Saint-Clément, regional vice-champions, qualified for the French D2 championship

Full podium with the four teams Pontarlier, Saint-Clément, Dijon and AS Quetigny

After the victory of the Cadets yesterday in Dijon in the regional championship by teams, it was the turn of the Seniors at the CREPS of Mirande to confront each other to try to win a national selection.

The Senior Men’s team, like last year, became Regional Vice-champion.

After winning by 3 wins to 2 against AS Quetigny, then in the second round of the table by the same score against Judo Club Dijonnais, the Judo Club Clementin team won the semi-final by 3 wins to 2 against the Dojo Côte d’Orien.

In the final, the Judo Club Clémentin was beaten by the Club du Haut Doubs Pontarlier with a final score of 4 wins to 1.

The team was made up of the following 9 clementines:
– 66kg: Gianni Georges and Jérôme Jamet.
-73kg : Baptiste Campos.
-81kg: Marius Hamard et Nicolas Morin.
– 90 kg: Soufian Benhadda and Joffrey Bourgeois.
– +90kg: Julien Crost and Mehdi Vandenouden.

This silver medal allows the JCC to qualify for the French second division championship on April 8 or 9 at the National Judo Institute in Paris.
