Rastorgujev made one mistake in the first and third shootings, but in the last shooting range he twice exceeded the number of “missed” shots in all the previous shootings, hitting only one of the five targets.

This allowed him to take 35th place, four minutes and 27.4 seconds behind the winner, Norwegian Johannes Tingnes Bae, who made two mistakes in the shooting.

The Norwegian was one minute and 4.9 seconds ahead of the Frenchman Kentin Fillon-Mayet and one minute and 6.6 seconds ahead of his brother Tarje Be, who hit 19 of 20 targets in the shooting.

The Norwegian Sturla Holm Legreids finished fourth, the Italian Tommaso Giacomels the fifth, but of the three following Norwegians, Vetle Shostad Kristiansen was the best and entered the top six.

Patryuk fouled once in the first two shootings, double fouled in the third shooting and was overtaken by a round, missing the fourth shooting.

He was ranked 59th.

In the pursuit, the leader of the World Cup with 330 points is Johannes Tingnes Bä. With 290 points, Legreides follows and with 192 points – Fillon-Mayet.

With 12 points, Rastorgujev ranks 51st among the athletes who earned 64 points.

Norwegian Johannes Tingnes Bä is the leader of the World Cup standings, who has accumulated 729 points. The second place with 675 points is occupied by Legreids, while Fillon-Maye has climbed to the third place with 377 points.

78 points give Rastorgujev 32nd place

Rastorgujev qualified for the pursuit at the World Cup stage in Hochfilzen, taking 35th place, while in the third stage of the competition in France, making five mistakes in the sprint, he was unable to enter the top 60 biathletes who secured a place in the pursuit. On Friday, he shot flawlessly in the sprint and finished 20th.

The day before, Patrijuks made one mistake in each of the shooting ranges in the sprint competition, finishing in 60th place, which allowed him to qualify for the pursuit in the World Cup for the first time.

It has already been reported that Baiba Bendika took 20th place in the women’s pursuit competition on Saturday.

On Sunday, the stage will end with the competition in the mixed relays, in which the participation of Latvian biathletes is also planned.

The fifth round of the World Cup will take place next week at the German circuit in Rupolding. The final of the ten World Cup competition stages is scheduled for March in Oslo, while the world championships will be hosted by Oberhof in Germany from February 6 to 19.
