NewTuscia – VITERBO – “For the report on the habits of Italians on New Year’s Eve yesterday in the 1.30 pm edition, Tg1 chose an excellence of Viterbo catering, registered by Confartigianato Viterbo: in fact, to bear witness to the consolidated practice of Italians of preferring restaurants in quality, where it is possible to find the right synthesis between traditional dishes and exclusive reinterpretations of 0 km products, the Ra1 newscast has chosen “Il Richiastro” by Emanuele Fioretti, the historic, iconic and well-established restaurant in via della Marrocca in Viterbo.
Emanuele, together with his team made up of his mother Giovanna Scappucci and Luigi Maria Buzzi, explained in front of the Rai flagship cameras why customers choose to spend the end and the beginning of the year at the restaurant even on New Year’s Eve, with the aim to celebrate together and rediscover the authentic flavors of tradition. “Customers come to us to seek tranquility – Fioretti explains to Tg1, filmed in front of the characteristic and unique fireplace of his restaurant -, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere. In our kitchen, then, we use only 0 km raw materials, from oil to legumes and vegetables, meeting the taste of people who increasingly prefer the quality and authentic flavor of Italian food specialties”.
According to Confartigianato estimates, for the New Year’s Eve just ended there were over 4 million Italians who greeted the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 in one of the over 70,000 restaurants still open. “Still a beautiful showcase for the food and wine of our land – comments the secretary of Confartigianato Imprese of Viterbo, Andrea De Simone -, still a beautiful spot for our city, still a company of Confartigianato Viterbo chosen as an example of food excellence and of authentic quality.
