In an interview with Sky Italia, Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku assured that Thierry Henry would be the next coach of the Red Devils following the resignation of Roberto Martinez.

According to the Belgian international striker, the former top scorer of the France team will rise in rank to move from the position of assistant to Roberto Martinez to that of coach of Belgium, following the resignation of the Spanish coach after the elimination of the Red Devils in the first round of the World Cup. The Inter striker said so at the microphone of Sky Italia : “For me, Thierry Henry is the next coach of Belgium. There is no doubt. I say it openly: he will be the next coach. The Red Devils are now on a downward slope after experiencing their golden age, like Eden Hazard, who decided to retire from international football at 31. A few days before Christmas, Thierry Henry said: “I have to be modest about it because I’m still under contract with Belgium. But if we talk about the future: one day, hopefully, I want to find a club with a good project”. Nothing says that “Titi” wants to stay in Belgium, so…
