Cooper is a journalist who suffers from a post-traumatic syndrome that causes him a short-term memory impairment. To please his mother, Cooper takes a break from work and travels to his hometown to visit his uncle Rollie who is seriously ill with Alzheimer’s. Certain that a rare Chicago Cub baseball card bequeathed to him by his grandfather is worth a fortune, Rollie persuades his nephew to accompany him to Chicago to attempt to sell the relic to the highest bidder. The two, together with Cooper’s old flame, Charlotte, embark on an incredible adventure.
