Bronze for Clément Jacquey

“The start was a bit difficult, with different lighting conditions than in the training hall and the incredible atmosphere of Nîmes, we had to get into it and adjust to put the arrows in the middle. It was a very tight game, tense from start to finish. This final is the same as the Bondy tournament a few weeks ago, where Baptiste and I also finished in the jump-off. It was still a magnificent jump-off, I opened with a very good arrow, very close to the middle, Baptiste was not very far and did not deserve it, it was really an incredible match »says the winner.

Clement Jacqueyengaged in the bronze final against the Australian Alec Potts, also emerged victorious after a big match, with 29 points on each end. A very good third place which completes a magnificent overall performance in Nîmes. For French archery, the 2023 season is off to a good start.
