The municipality of Caudecoste presented its wishes to the population last Saturday, in the presence of Mrs. Bonfanti-Dossat, senator, Jean Dionis du Séjour, president of the Agglo, and other mayors of the sector. Is it the comforting presence of these elected officials or the number of Caudecostois who responded to the invitation? Still, Professor François Dailledouze was comfortable in his mayor’s clothes.
In front of a copiously filled room, the mayor reviewed the work carried out at school, at home, on Place Rogale, in the crossing of the town, at the church. Big changes in the shops: the bar-tabac (arrival of Arnaud and Marie), karting (new management of Mrs. and Mr. Carnejac), the butcher’s shop (Tristan Vanhaezebrouk replaces Patricia and Jean Bardy). Manon Dabos (etiopath), Romain Sénat (orthopedist), Nadège Rouzier (The Head in the Clouds) have settled. A restaurant is expected to open soon.
The Caudecostois sports world is also the pride of the mayor. The AOCB, 1/4 finalist in the French championship and fall champion in 2022, Mathis Carnéjac in karting, Charlie Desvaux Aubry, silver medal in archery on horseback. Many associations participate in the animation of the town: Les Petites Mains, the Secular Association, the theater with Caudecost’en rire, the twinning section, the ALSH or the reading point with Jean-Louis Chapelet. Six young people took part in civic workcamps. Among the projects, the renovation of the town hall is worth a rebounding file which we will talk about again soon, as well as, on September 2 and 3, events and conferences planned for the 750th anniversary of the bastide.
