Maximilian Wöber has achieved a draw on his debut for his new club Leeds United. The defender drew 2-2 with the Premier League club in the third round of the FA Cup at second tier Cardiff City on Sunday, resulting in a replay with swapped home rights. The ex-Salzburger was traded in the 60th minute when the score was 0:2 from Leeds’ point of view and was able to celebrate a draw.

Jaden Philogene-Bidace (24′) and Sheyi Ojo (31′) gave Cardiff the lead. After the break, Rodrigo scored the first goal (65′), but failed to take a penalty (81′) after Joel Bagan saw the red card for a handball. Sonny Perkins made it 2-2 for Leeds in the 93rd minute.

ÖFB team player Wöber switched from Red Bull Salzburg to the club of ex-“Bullen” coach Jesse Marsch on Tuesday for a reported 20 million euros, including possible bonus payments.
