FFF: Noël Le Graët accused of inappropriate remarks towards Corinne Deacon, coach of the Blue

One more testimony against Noël Le Graët. Aline Riera, member of the Executive Committee of the French Football Federation (FFF), accuses the former president of the governing organization of French football of having made inappropriate remarks towards Corinne Deacon, current coach of the Bleues.

The case of Noël Le Graët is getting worse. Withdrawn from the presidency of the FFF since his remarks on Zinédine Zidane and several testimonies concerning sexist behavior, the latter is targeted by new accusations.

“I’d rather you held out your lips to me.” According to Aline Riera, former international and member of the Executive Committee (Comex) of the FFF, the president of the Federation would have addressed Corinne Deacon, coach of the French women’s team, while the latter offered him a kiss.

According to L’Equipe, which relayed the accusations of Aline Riera, Noël Le Graët would have had “heavy words” and “inappropriate words” on several occasions.

She reveals in particular that the 81-year-old man used to call Corinne Deacon “my love”.

Aline Riera did not want her revelations to be transcribed in the minutes of the meeting, but her speech would have been reported to the principal concerned. Still according to L’Équipe, she would have written an email to the members of the Comex on January 19: “You put me and you put Corinne in a bad position now”.
