Ferrocarril de Concordia and San José will meet in a preseason friendly

Concordienses and sanjosesinos will have their first preparation test this Wednesday from 9:30 p.m. When they meet at the Juan de Dios Obregón stadium of Club Atlético Ferrocarril.

The match will be the first of an agreement between both clubs in preparation for the start of the 2023 Federal League. The rematch will take place two days later in San José.

The two teams will share Zone 2 of the Litoral Conference in the third tier of the national basketball tournament alongside Bancario de Gualeguay, Atlético Tala and the three representatives of Gualeguaychú: Central Entrerriano, Neptunia and Racing.

Despite some modifications in both schools, they are teams that know each other well, since they come from sharing a group in the Pre Federal 2022, from which they qualified for the national instance.

Regarding what was the conformation of the staff of Railroad players in the provincial competition, the casualties of Ricardo Truffa and Joaquín Ortíz occurred. On the contrary, Juan Ignacio Giudici, Thiago Bentancourt and Tadeo Hildt joined.

With players who are no more than twenty-three years old and the formation of a purely local squad, except for Octavio Poque and Pablo Moreyra who have been in the city for a few years, the Ferro leadership is truly committed to a development project for its youth categories.

On the side of San José, with a great campaign in the last Pre Federal, they will no longer have the services of Martin Tabach, Tomás Turri, Facundo Barreto and Francisco Gaytán, the latter underwent surgery for torn ligaments and will be a collaborator of the coaching staff as long as he continues with his rehabilitation. To make up for these absences, the leadership has agreed to the incorporation of Juan Cruz Lerose, Catriel Aredes, Joaquín Briseño, Carlos Benítez Gavilán and Junior Herrera.

The general admission to witness the meeting this Friday will have a value of $300.
