FC Twente women rumble on: PSV also has to believe it
There is no size on the women of FC Twente this season. After twelve games, they still have the maximum score in the Eredivisie, after also winning the make-up game with PSV. In Eindhoven it became 3-0 for the Tukkers.
The goals were scored by Elena Dhont and Fenna Kalma. The latter, the top scorer of the competition, made two: her 20th and 21st goal again. Last season, the counter of the Orange international ended at 33 goals in 24 matches.
The goal difference of leader Twente is impressive anyway: 57 goals for and only 2 against. After twelve matches, Twente has a three-point lead over Ajax. PSV is number five.
Later in the evening sc Heerenveen won 3-1 at VV Alkmaar.
