BOLASPORT.COM – Two racers for the Monster Energy Yamaha team, Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli, had to be a little patient. This is because the motorbike created by former Formula 1 mechanic Luca Marmorini will only be finished in 2024.

Yamaha has just launched its new livery for MotoGP 2023 in Jakarta on Tuesday (17/1/2023).

On this occasion, both Quartararo and Morbidelli said they were ready to face this season.

Both of them have big ambitions to perform better than last year, especially Quartararo who hopes to take revenge by winning the world title.

However, it seems that this will not be easy because they have to race against technicians from the opposing team.

It is undeniable that one of the reasons why the French racer failed to win the world title last year was the poor performance of last year’s YZR-M1.

The YZR-M1’s biggest problem lies in its engine, in fact various attempts have been made by the Iwata manufacturer to fix this problem.

Even last year they recruited Italian engineer and former mechanic in Formula 1, Luca Marmorini to make a more powerful engine.

Quartararo and Morbidelli have experienced positive results in the official test session conducted in Misano, Italy.
