Doncic admits he’s not easy to play with at times and heaps praise on Porzingis’ replacement

Porzingis left the “Mavericks” at the very beginning of last year, going to the Washington “Wizards” club. In return, the Dallas unit received another Latvian, Daavi Bertanas and Spencer Dinwiddie.

He understands that and never gets angry. He listens to me, I listen to him. We cooperate perfectly,” Doncic praised the American.

Wood didn’t skimp on compliments in Doncic’s direction either. He expressed that the Slovenian plays at an incredible level, he definitely deserves to become the league’s most valuable basketball player, or MVP.

“I think we just complement each other. When Luca goes forward, I just let him do it. When he starts to hit, I have to get more involved. I think we do a great job,” Wood said.

Doncic has scored 50 or more points three times in the last five matches, once achieving an unbelievable triple-double with 60 points, 21 rebounds and ten assists.

The Mavericks, with 21 wins and 16 losses, occupy a high fourth place in the Western Conference.
