The amnesty of the Disciplinary Tribunal before the start of the Professional League
The AFA Disciplinary Court made the decision to annul the sanctions against footballers who must serve three games or less of suspension, in all categories of Argentine soccer. Boca was one of those favored by the measure: they will be able to count on Luis Advíncula, Alan Varela, Guillermo Pol Fernández, Sebastián Villa and Diego González against Atlético Tucumán.
For their part, there are other beneficiaries: Marcelo Herrera (five yellow cards) in River, with Jonathan Galván (direct red card against Boca, from the substitute bench) and Johan Carbonero (direct red card against Boca) in Racing, Federico Fattori (fifth yellow card) in Huracán and Adam Bareiro (five warnings) in San Lorenzo, among others.
The format of the Professional League 2023
The 2023 Professional League will have the participation of 28 teams: they will face each other against each other on 27 dates. Belgrano and Instituto are the teams that ascended from the First National. In turn, they will not be Board of Trustees or Aldosivi, who descended in 2022.
Besides, it was defined that there will be three relegations this season: two by average and one by general table, unlike last season (there were two by averages).
