Damar Hamlin appreciates expressions of affection after suffering a cardiac arrest

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlinconvalescing after suffering a cardiac arrest during a game of the NFL Last monday, thanked this Saturday the “love received” from fans and his colleaguesand described the displays of affection as “overwhelming.”

Shortly after the Chiefs-Las Vegas game kickoff, Hamlin posted his first comments since the injurywhich sparked great excitement and support.

“When you put true love out into the world, it comes back to you 3 (his jersey number) more times. The Love has been overwhelming, but I am thankful for each person who prayed for me. and held out his hand” published Hamlin24 years old, on his Instagram account.

“We rallied the world behind this. If you know me you know this only made me stronger. On a long way, keep praying for me! #3strong,” she added.

Hamlin collapsed after taking a hard blow to the chest while knocking down Bengals catcher Tee Higgins during the first quarter of the nationally televised game.

He was resuscitated in the field and hospitalized in critical condition. at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC).

The player had a breathing tube removed on Friday and was able to make a video call with his teammates.

before the national anthem Saturday in the game Chiefs and Las Vegas, invited the crowd to show their support for Hamlin with cheers and applause.

The Bills posted an update on Hamlin on Saturday saying “according to doctors at the UC Medical Center, Damar is making continued progress in his recovery but remains in critical condition.. He continues to breathe on his own and his neurological function is excellent.”
