During the match against Manchester United in the Premier League this Wednesday (18), fans of Crystal Palace displayed banners protesting against John Textor, one of the owners of the English club.

“Owns multiple clubs; stock market bets; Textor, we don’t trust you,” read the banners.

According to the “Financial Times”, Eagle Football, John Textor’s company, is planning to go public on the US Stock Exchange to negotiate the ownership of multiple clubs, which would be an unprecedented attitude in world football.

Textor has stakes in Crystal Palace, RWD Molenbeek and Lyon, in addition to being the owner of SAF do Botafogo, created in 2022. The property is through Eagle Football.
