Scott Parker needs to get Club back on track. Earlier this week, the brand new trainer spoke to the Belgian press for the first time.
There he told that he is not yet very well informed about the Belgian league and his group of players. Especially the play-offs still cause confusion.
“It is completely different from England. I don’t think I fully understand the system yet, actually”, he said with a laugh. “I have to be honest… “
“I don’t have in-depth knowledge about this team and the league yet. We shouldn’t be silly about that,” it said in the press chat.

Those statements were eagerly circulated by the English press. “New Club coach Scott Parker admits he knows no real detail about his squad,” the headline read Daily Mail for instance.
Parker’s statements are also laughed at in some other media outlets. It is now up to the English coach to show that he is the right man in the right place.
