Everything was better before…
Chelsea FC is in the earnings crisis. The Blues are only tenth in the league, in the FA Cup the capital club received a real smack on Sunday evening. In the third round, Chelsea lost 4-0 at Manchester City without a chance.
A bankruptcy that hurt the fans so much that they even sang about the good old days!
During the game, the approximately 8,000 Chelsea supporters who had traveled along chanted for ex-coach Thomas Tuchel (49).
The German coach won the Champions League with the London club in 2021, but was fired on September 7 this season after a mixed start.
Chelsea hired Graham Potter (47) as his successor and transferred millions to league competitor Brighton for the Englishman’s services. Things are hardly going any better with the Tuchel replacement Potter – on the contrary!
While Tuchel had an average of 1.67 points in his six league games this season, Potter only managed 1.36 in eleven games. Actually too little for Chelsea’s claims.

Potter on the Tuchel calls: “You can understand the frustration of the fans and we respect that. There are always different opinions and criticism because the results were not positive. We’re going through a bad patch, and sometimes in moments like this you need someone to blame. We have to stick together and keep working.”
The main person responsible for the change of coach was Chelsea boss Todd Boehly (49). The American took over the club on May 7 and succeeded Roman Abramovich (56), who had put the club up for sale.
What Boehly shouldn’t like at all: Even in his first season as the owner, the fans are demanding Abramovich’s return!
In addition to Tuchel, the supporters also sang the name of the Russian oligarch. He was Chelsea boss from 2003 to 2022, during which time he won two Champions League titles and five championships with the club.
