Bulls pass Nets to end 12-game winning streak

CHICAGO (AP) — DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Williams each had 22 points and the Chicago Bulls ended Brooklyn’s 12-game winning streak with a 121-113 victory over Kevin Durant and the Nets on Wednesday.

Durant had 44 points, but Chicago had six players in double figures. Nikola Jokic had 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Ayo Dosunmo had 17 points. The Bulls had just lost two consecutive games.

Durant rested early in the fourth quarter and Chicago added eight straight points. Dosunmu stole a pass at midfield and finished dunking the ball to widen the lead to 106-95 with 6:46 left.

Williams and DeRozan each hit two free kicks in the final minute to help confirm the win.

Durant scored a season-high 28 points in the first half, but Brooklyn trailed 69-59 at halftime. He was 15 of 22 from the field to within a career-high point on Nov. 28 against Orlando.
