Boulogne-sur-Gesse. Football: the point at the truce for Boulogne-Péguilhan

The Entente Boulogne-Péguilhan will resume competition with the arrival of Tournefeuille, at Charles Suran, on January 14 at 6 p.m.

After the draw from Graulhet, on the last day before the break, BP is in sixth place in Group D of the regional championship 2, with 12 points for three wins, three draws and three defeats. Two games from the end of the first leg, this mid-table position is more in line with the possibilities of the group, a group that had trouble finding each other, starting the competition with a narrow defeat at home in front of the promoted Soues despite an outrageous domination. A draw at Cazères, a win at home against Grisolles by chaining and everything collapsed during the defeat against Saint-Sulpice, Charles Suran and with the correction (0-4) suffered at Saint-Gaudens.

The reaction will come to Muret where the BP imposes itself largely (4-1). Admittedly, two draws without the slightest goal will follow against Lavaur, an urgent leader and at the bottom who is worth more than his classification. BP had also found itself in the same situation after two consecutive failures.

Out of nine games, the attack has struck twelve times, which places it in fourth position, but the defense has yielded thirteen times (including seven goals in two games), the eighth defense of the pool. Over the last three days, the defensive adjustments have proven effective: a goal conceded at Muret then Barthe kept his goals blank against Lavaur and Graulhet.

Regular training has resumed between the holidays.

The other formations of the Entente behave quite well: team 2 in Departmental 2 is third, behind the Canton of Aurignac leader and Encausse. Team 3 in county 4 is sixth in its pool as are the women at 11.
