After a day off, the first stage of the 2023 Clay Pigeon Shooting World Cup, underway in Rabat, has resumed its programming. From skeet we moved on to trap: here’s how things went in the first qualifying round for men and women.

Male trap
At the top of the standings, with a score of 49 targets out of 50 hit, there is a trio formed by the Czech David Kostelecky, the Guatemalan Enrique Brol and the Peruvian Alessandro De Souza Ferreira.
In Italy, however, the best was Daniele Resca, currently 9th at an altitude of 47/50 (23+24), with Luca Miotto and Lorenzo Ferrari who are currently respectively in 24th (46/50, 23+23) and 37th place (45/50, 23+22).

Female trap
The American Rachel Leighanne Tozier leads the ranking alone, at 48/50. Not far away are the rest of the participants in the competition. Among the Italian women to be mentioned is the provisional 9th ​​place of Silvana Stanco (44/50, 23+21), the 13th of Giulia Grassia (43/50, 21+22) and the 15th of Jessica Rossi (43/50 , 22+21).

Tomorrow in the second qualifying round, another 50 clay pigeons will be available for all shooters on the range.
