Beerschot ends the year by settling its financial worries

The Beerschot dominates the Challenger Pro League but before being able to move up without worries in D1A, he had to settle his financial worries.

In December, the Beerschot held an Extraordinary General Meeting. This was partly in response to the transfer ban the Licensing Commission imposed on the Antwerp club. Two things were confirmed at the meeting. First of all, the now effective resignation of Jan Van Winckel, who announced his departure in August.

But above all, a capital increase of 5 million euros was decided by the investors. The club’s capital now stands at 10.5 million euros and this investment will allow the Antwerp club to make transfers next season.
