Indonesian women’s doubles pair, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, in the semifinals of the Malaysia Open 2023 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Saturday (14/1/2023).

BOLASPORT.COM – The 2023 Malaysia Open Champion, Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan, admits that they are sad to hear of the injury that has hit Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, who is partnered with Apriyani Rahayu, was injured during a match against Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan in the semifinals of the Malaysia Open last week.

Fadia got the injury during the match in the second game.

Meanwhile, Chen/Jia, who won, immediately made their way to the final to continue their match against South Korean envoys, Baek Ha-na/Lee Yu-lim, in two games 21-16, 21-10.

This achievement brought the world’s first-ranked pair to win the title of the first BWF Super 1000 level badminton tournament this year.

“It’s true that we are opponents on the pitch, but as athletes, we really don’t want that to happen,” said Jia as quoted by BolaSport.com from Thestar.com.my.
