Bayern has a big problem here!

The fight for the title in the Bundesliga is more exciting than it has been for years.

It was the sixth goal conceded from a set piece with just 15 goals conceded in total. That corresponds to 40 percent of all goals conceded. In this category, according to Deltatre data from the first half of the season, Bayern are in 16th place!

For comparison: Werder Bremen have only conceded two goals from standards. This corresponds to a share of only six percent of all goals conceded by the North Germans. (DATA: Bundesliga results)

In addition, the opponents of the record champions use too many great opportunities. A full 50 percent of the very good opportunities resulted in goals. BVB’s opponents, on the other hand, only completed 27 percent of the big chances.

There are also problems with the standards at the front. FC Bayern celebrated only seven times according to their own standards and thus only occupies eighth place in this category. With 51 goals, that’s just 14 percent. The Munich team had by far the most in the league with 110 corners.

For comparison: Frankfurt, as the leader in this category, scored eleven goals after the ball was stationary.

The corners in particular are a problem for Munich. So far, it takes 28 corners to score in such a situation. Gladbach are best in this area with a goal for every 15 corners.

But the final quality of Bayern is clearly in need of improvement. Bayern use only 47 percent of the big chances and are tenth in the Bundesliga table. Wolfsburg is much more effective with 58 percent.

In terms of the number of big chances missed (25), Bayern is at the bottom!

Nagelsmann calls for more “dynamics” and “greed” in the offensive standards!

At the same time, he pointed out that he didn’t have that much time to rehearse standards with his players due to the international pressure.

He also put it into perspective: “If we score a lot of goals from the game, the proportion of standards will of course be lower.” That’s why the statistics are a bit “falsified”.
