Coach Andrea Trinchieri’s team beat Virtus Bologna 91:84 (43:38) in their home Audi Dome on Friday and, with a record of 9:12, moved up past their inferior opponent to 13th place in the table.
In the host team, Augustine Rubit was the top scorer with 18 points, 15 points came from Cassius Winston and 10 from Nick Weiler-Babb.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern are challenged in the home game against BG Göttingen on Sunday. After the clear defeat in Ludwigsburg, the Munich team had recently returned to the BBL with a win at Brose Bamberg and thus consolidated third place in the table.
