Los Angeles (SID) – The Los Angeles Dodgers have parted ways with pitcher Trevor Bauer, who made headlines over allegations of sexual assault. The 31-year-old was handed an unprecedented 324-game ban, which was later reduced to 194 games on appeal and is now ending.
“After careful consideration, we have decided that Trevor Bauer will no longer be a part of the Dodgers,” the Major League Baseball club said in a statement. Bauer signed a three-year, $102 million contract in February 2021.
