Lavoute-sur-Loire. Badminton interclubs. Sunday, January 8, the Badminton Club Emblavez hosted an interclub day at the gymnasium of the Aqua-passion center. The Emblavez club has entered two teams this season: an Elite team and a Promotion team.
The Elite team faced the neighboring club of Brives-Charensac and the club of Langogne.
Against Brives, the matches were close. But in the end the matches turned to the visitors’ advantage and the final score was 5-2 for Brives. Faced with Langogne, there was a final defeat by 7 to 0. At the end of the day, the BCE ranks last in its division. There are still three games left to avoid relegation which will be played on Sunday February 12 in Brioude.
The promotion team, meanwhile, faced three teams: Sainte-Sigolène, Langeac and Brioude. At the end of the day the team lost 5 to 1 over the three games and finished penultimate in its division. The next interclub day will take place in Langeac on Sunday 12 February.
For its part, the Badminton Club de l’Emblavez will organize its Ecoplume tournament on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19 (senior, singles, doubles, mixed meetings), and its Ecokid tournament on Saturday April 22 (youth meetings in singles and seniors in doubles , chicks, youngest, minimal, cadet, junior, senior).
