ASCH won without shining against Stade Montois

reactions

Philippe Carrère (Stade Montois coach): “Compared to the last game, it’s a paradox because I’m more proud of my team today than against Castelnau-Médoc. We were able to get them out of their offensive norm, it’s a team that is still at 90 points on average, we held them to 75 points. The ASCH has executive and referenced players but, tonight, it is Mélina who is changing the game. Eric’s bet paid off, but we have nothing to be ashamed of. The negative point is the clumsiness of the free throws, even if we competed on the rebounds. We don’t play upside down but it’s a shame. »
Éric Billy Diwongui (ASCH coach): “I am satisfied with the result. It’s never easy to win away from home, we’ve just had a second victory so we’ll take that. In terms of content, it wasn’t the greatest basketball game, but you have to know how to win those games. I think the Stadium played with a lot of desire and motivation, they wanted to fight. We lose 24 balls, we give them 14 offensive rebounds, these are stats of desire and effort. We win despite everything because individually, we are a little better off but we cannot be satisfied with this victory. We have to get back to work. »
