Kasatkina, eliminated in the debut

Changing game from the start, with three breaks in the first four games, and a surprising Noskova taking a quick 3-1 lead. Everything seemed to go as expected when Dasha recovered the break midway through the set, but immediately after, the Czech signed a new break to take the sleeve 6-3. A similar trend for the second set, when Linda started again with a break advantage on the scoreboard. However, this set would have a much more even development, with three breaks per side. In a defining tiebreak, Kasatkina appealed to her experience and stretched the conclusion.

Just when it looked like Dasha was getting ahead of him, Noskova came out better again to start a new set. In a development similar to the first set, the Russian recovered the break in the seventh game, but was then unable to hold her serve turn. Finally, Noskova sealed the victory and the surprise with a defining 6-3.

Kudermetova vence a Anisimova

In this match there would be no surprise, because the favorite was clearly Kudermetova. In any case, the loss of a player like Anisimova in the first round of a tournament is always worth noting. The game began with a break per side in the first games, and a give and take of dominance. The Russian seemed to have more complications with her service. However, Kudermetova herself would sign two consecutive breaks in defining moments, to take the set 6-3.

Anisimova was touched after having missed the first set in this way, and in fact she would put up to ten consecutive losing games on track, leaving the Russian totally in charge of the match. Finally, and continuing on that path, Kudermetova ended the actions with a resounding 6-0.
