All it took was a honk of the horn and the “snow” would come down from above

The agents of the anti-drug section carried out the intervention close to the junction of the northern ring road, where already a week ago, by searching some of the interspaces, they had found about fifty doses of cocaine with everything necessary for packaging and weighing the drugs , as well as a baseball bat, a machete and a blank pistol complete with magazine and numerous cartridges.

The investigation

It all started from a suspicious coming and going of people near a service gate located at the foot of one of the pillars of the ring road, a stone’s throw from via Ronchi Bassi and via Po’. Sensing that this area could be a drug dealing area, investigators carried out an observation service yesterday. During the activity they understood that the customer was arriving by car and signaled his presence to the pusher with a horn. At this point a plastic container tied to a rope arrived from above with the doses of cocaine inside. The customer took them and put the cash consideration inside. During the activity, two contractors were surprised, a 24-year-old from Bronzola di Campodarsego and another 44-year-old from Vigonza. For them, the withdrawal of the license and the reporting to the Prefecture took place. The officers seized the newly purchased doses of cocaine against them. Once the drug dealing activity was confirmed, action was taken to block the pusher.

The arrest

The agents entered the cavity of the pylon to block the drug dealer. The latter, the 23-year-old Algerian, jumped from a height of four meters to escape arrest, but was blocked. Seized a further ten doses of cocaine and 330 euros considered to be the proceeds of previous illegal activity.
