BOLASPORT.COM – Vietnam coach Park Hang-seo spoke about the Thai bus being attacked by an extremist fan of the Indonesian national team, and the record if his team met Garuda in the semifinals of the 2022 AFF Cup.
Park Hang-seo expressed his opinion at a press conference before the match against Myanmar, Monday (2/1/2023).
Vietnam will face Myanmar in the final Group B match of the 2022 AFF Cup at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, Tuesday (3/1/2023).
“This question is very uncomfortable if you ask the players, so I will answer it,” said Park Hang-seo as quoted by BolaSport.com from Soha.vn.
“Every tournament has crazy fans. Sometimes they go overboard, lose their minds.

“If this was to set a precedent, VFF even at a higher level would need to have requirements in place to ensure team safety.
“I don’t know how threatened the Thaoland team is but if there is precedent then we need to make a claim.
“In tournaments, ensuring the safety of the away team is the responsibility of the hosts,” he said.
