2023 begins with a bang just as 2022 ended, with another victory for Marco Odermatt. Untouchable this season in the discipline, the Swiss signed a new recital, at home, in the Mecca of the giant, in Adelboden. Best time of the two races, stratospheric in the second with a completely crazy risk-taking, Odermatt beat Henrik Kristoffersen (+ 0”73) and Loïc Meillard (+ 1”66) to sign his 6th win of the winter. Too timid in the second heat, Alexis Pinturault finished 6th, while Léo Anguenot took a superb 16th place. Victor Muffat-Jeandet fell heavily.
