Artenay. A promising future for the Judo CLub of the Artenay Region. The Judo club of the Artenay region held its general assembly on Saturday, in the presence of elected officials from the canton and the president of the Loiret committee. The opportunity for the association to honor Michel Betzina, a recently retired professor. He left his place to Maxence Polzer who has just validated his professional judo certificate.

The latter will continue to supervise the various activities of the club with the second teacher, Clément Pavie, already trained by the club several years ago. Together, they presented the encouraging sports results of the judokas, involved in numerous competitions.

In addition, the association has been able to maintain a relatively high level of licensees despite a drop linked to the post-Covid recovery. Good management and the organization of events such as the Ascension garage sale or the partnership with traders in the sector allow him to have solid finances.

Community support is also important. David Jacquet, regional councilor and mayor of Artenay, also mentioned the dojo project which should see the light of day by the end of the mandate.
