Three weeks ago, KVK beat OHL in the cup and today Selemani and co put the team from Leuven on their knees thanks to a late goal by crowd favorite Avenatti. Kortrijk seems reborn under Storck and jumps over KV Oostende to a safe fifteenth place.

KV Kortrijk could do a great job in the standings with a victory. The guys jumped a three-pointer over KV Oostende to a safe fifteenth place. Bernd Storck’s troops therefore eagerly started the game, but the opening goal fell on the other side. Tamari lashed out wonderfully and floored KVK goalie Vandenberghe. OHL was the better team after that goal, but when captain Maertens had to leave the field with an injury, the home team collapsed like a pudding. Cojocaru first intervened well on a shot by Bruno, but moments later the Romanian goalie was beaten. Avenatti looked for Bruno with a cross, but his effort went straight against the nets.
Immediately after the break, a free kick from Holzhauser hit the post. Kortrijk was therefore warned and immediately went on the attack and with success. Sych – via Ricca – kicked the 1-2 past Cojocaru into goal. Gueye had a unique ability at the foot to do the books all the way, but the Senegalese missed incomprehensibly. A sour miss, because a few minutes later Patris headed a corner kick against the ropes. We seemed to be heading for a draw, but in the very last minute Avenatti headed in the 2-3. A golden three-pointer for Kortrijk.
